Tips For Maintaining a Healthy Life Style
1. Start Your Day Early
Waking up early is a great way to get things done before you actually need to start your day. Whether it’s school or work, waking up minutes before your departure time and rushing to get out the door is no way to start your day. Being able to take your time in the morning allow for a calm relaxing start to your day, even if you’re not looking forward to what’s about to come. You might even be able to schedule in a quick work out! Try setting your alarm away from your bed, so that you have to physically get up and walk to shut it off.
2. Drink Water
Water should always be the first thing you consume when you wake up in the morning. You may not realize but you often wake up dehydrated from sleeping so long without drinking. Have glass of water as soon as you wake up, this should help you feel refreshed and ready to start the day.
3. Pack a Snack
Don’t forget to pack high-energy easy snacks in your bag before you leave home. Dried fruits and nuts are high in healthy sugars and energy that keep your stomach feeling full while providing you with the energy kick you need to power through the afternoon. Try a home made trail mix of nuts, dried fruits, and cocoa nibs!
