It’s Wednesday, and there’s a huge chance your patience is running low. Wednesday, also known as Hump Day, is the point of the week where energy levels sink and you can’t wait for the weekend. Here’s a few tips and tricks on how to keep a positive attitude and healthy state of mind this Wednesday.
2. Have You Eaten?
During intense work hours people often forget or don’t have time to eat. Here’s the trick… make time! Without food, your body has no fuel to power on for the rest of the day, let alone the rest of the week. Pack protein bars and quick snacks in your bag to avoid skipping meals.
2. Soak Up the Sun
Try going outside for at least 30 minutes during your work day, or if you can’t get outside, go sit next to a window. Being indoors away from Sunlight has a direct correlation with the development of depression and anxiety. Be sure to get your vitamin D naturally, or even taking vitamin D supplements in the morning.
3. Drink Cold Pressed Juice
The higher level of nutrients in fresh cold pressed juice are more easily processed by the human body. Because your stomach can absorb nutrients faster in liquid form, drinking cold pressed juice makes you feel instantly refreshed and revived.
4. Stand Up
If you’re at a desk job, try standing every now and then, stretch, walk around. Stay in the same position for extended period of time can easily heighten stress levels and start make the end of the week seem way to far away.
Getting physical energy out is a great way to both relieve stress and tension and spark motivation. If you don’t exercise every day, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays are perfect days to dedicate to working out, in order to keep motivation high and stress at a healthy levels low.
